Vicki Rackner, MD, former surgeon and founder of The Caregiver Club, has been on all sides of the dire diagnosis: as the patient facing a life-threatening medical condition, as the doctor caring for patients, and as a family caregiver advocating for sick loved ones. She is passionate about offering caregivers the message they are not alone, the reminder they have choices, and the light of hope even on dark days.
