Federal Health Care Reform Update
June 17, 2010
The "Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act" signed into law on March 23 provides:
- Expansion of coverage for older adults and persons with disabilities in a number of government programs
- Relief from cost sharing requirements under Medicare Part D (prescription) coverage and
- Consumer protections in a number of areas.
