VNA Community Healthcare Announces Outstanding Employees

VNA Community Healthcare recently awarded three "Wow Awards" to acknowledge individuals in the Finance Department who embody the tagline “Beside You at Every Turn”. The recipients displayed behavior and/or performed actions and deeds considered “above and beyond” their normal job duties.
Here are our recent recipients:
Maria Fowler
Displayed amazing support, guidance and leadership when she performed additional accounting functions on top of her normal job duties during her manager’s maternity leave. Maria also had great attention to detail and a “can do" attitude while completing payroll and addressing employees questions/issues with concern, empathy and efficiency.
Melanie Burr
Displayed outstanding direction, compassion and diligence while assisting a patient’s family in maneuvering the Medicaid Redetermination process. She meticulously pursued state reimbursement and displayed great poise, self-confidence and kindness while providing the family with direction and useful information.
Patti Mackenzie
Has an extraordinary work ethic, determination, creativity and attentiveness that really shined while covering billing/collection accounts during her teammate’s absence and simultaneously mentoring and coordinating activities for the Branford Hall externs for the flu season. She continually goes “above and beyond” her normal job functions.
